Convert CGPA/SGPA to Percentage for SSC, UPSC, and Banking Forms.
Useful for: SSC CGL, UPSC, IBPS PO, RRB NTPC Forms
When filling out application forms for SSC CGL, UPSC, or Banking Exams, you are often required to enter your marks in "Percentage" even if your result is in CGPA or SGPA.
Important: Always verify the conversion formula printed on the back of your official Marksheet or Degree Certificate. Using the wrong formula can lead to document verification issues later.
For CBSE Class 10 and 12 results, the standard multiplier is 9.5. For example, if your CGPA is 10, your percentage is 10 x 9.5 = 95%.
For most semester-based courses (B.Tech/B.Sc), the formula is (SGPA - 0.75) x 10 or simply SGPA x 10. Use the Engineering preset in this calculator for the x10 formula.
Simply divide your Obtained Marks by Total Marks and multiply by 100. Example: (360 / 600) x 100 = 60%. Use the "Marks to %" tab above to calculate this automatically.
