Eligibility Criteria for Kolkata Staff Nurse Vacancy

Residency and Local Language: The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal. The applicant must also have knowledge of local languages and proficiency in Bengali.

Essential Qualification:

1. The candidate should have completed a GNM training course from an institute recognized by the Indian Nursing Council / West Bengal Nursing Council. OR
2. The candidate should have completed a B.SC Nursing Course.
3. Candidates must be registered under the West Bengal Nursing Council.

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025):

Not more than 40 Years. Age relaxations will be given for reserved category candidates as per extant Govt. of West Bengal Norms.

Remuneration (Salary) For KMC Nurse

The consolidated remuneration is Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand only) per month.

Mode of Selection in Exam

The selection process will be a 2-stage process after document verification.

1. Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on eligibility criteria, academic qualification, and experience.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for an interview.

The Final Selection will be made on the basis of total marks obtained in academic qualification, experience, and interview. In case of a tie in marks, preference will be given to the candidate who is inter se senior in age as on 1st January, 2025.

1. Less than 1 Year: 00 Marks
2. 1 Year and more, but less than 2 Yrs: 03 Marks
3. 2 Years and more, but less than 3 Yrs: 06 Marks
4. 3 Years and more, but less than 4 Yrs: 09 Marks
5. 4 Years and more, but less than 5 Yrs: 12 Marks
6. 5 Years and more: 15 Marks

1. Age proof (Madhyamik Admit Card/Pass Certificate).
2. Residential address proof (Aadhaar Card/Voter ID/Passport).
3. Class 12 and GNM/B.sc Nursing all semester's, mark-sheets and Pass Certificate with West Bengal Nursing Registration.
4. Working Experience certificate.
5. Caste Certificate (as per Govt of West Bengal Norms).
6. Person with Disabilities Certificate (as per Govt of West Bengal Norms).
7. Economically Weaker Section Certificate (as per Govt of West Bengal Norms).
8. Meritorious Sports Person Certificate (as per Govt of West Bengal Norms).
